Local tourist
After residing in San Francisco for the past five and half years I have certainly removed the Tourist label that new-comers seem to wear unwantedly. However, I'm not sure that I have rightfully been initiated into the Locals Club. I've come to realize that this might just be the best of both worlds- knowing the great spots of SF while still enjoying the locations that locals snub their nose to. Quite often I forget the rich history San Francisco houses and what better way to refresh my memory than with a tourist excursion?! I decided to surprise my boyfriend, who is also a 'tourist', with a trip to Alcatraz followed by a stop to Baker Beach where iconic views of the Golden Gate Bridge can be admired. The excursion was a blast and many more will soon be taken.
