Road Trip: Zoe moves to Portand
Several years ago I walked into work and noticed an unfamiliar face. Introducing herself as Zoe (pronounced Zo) I said my hellos and went about my shift. It wasn't until after almost an entire year that I would realize just how spectacular this new girl was. After countless hours on the clock together, late night festivities, dancing in public, day trips to Santa Cruz, long hours studying in various cafes, attending several baseball games, and roaming about San Francisco, this "new girl" is one of my dearest friends. But, as quickly as the fog rolls into San Francisco, friends come and go just as quickly as the fog rolls out. With Zoe, it's not a matter of gone forever, she simply has packed her bags to reside in a new location. Portland. It was a fun drive up the coast, camping adventure, and arrival into the quirky, hipster-infested, food cart mania of a city. I miss her dearly, but am happy to see her enjoy the changes she wants in her life.
We stopped at Patrick's Point, one of my favorite places as a kid.
It was Zoe's first time visiting the Redwoods.
We made it!
This place was fantastic, AND you got to enjoy your sandwich in an old school bus.
Good Luck, Zoe!
Agh! Patrick's Point! The photos are lovely... ya for blogs! :)
