The running joke is that my brother only comes to town during baseball season. So, one may pose the question, "But Angela, it's February, and clearly baseball doesn't start until April, right?!" Well, there is this little event called Fanfest. (and by little, I mean quite LARGE). Fanfest is when all of Giants stadium is open to the public- from the player's dressing room to the announcers box- it's like a playground for fans. It has become a yearly tradition that my brother, his wife, and their extremely cute daughter come to San Francisco to get a glimpse of AT&T park from a different side. It's a tradition that I love, and look forward to, because I know that these crazy kids won't be back until April, if not later.
Since Fanfest is only one day, we decided to head to Muir Woods, too, across Golden Gate Bridge. Muir Woods is a small taste of California's finest trees- Redwoods. My niece got to search for fish in the river, touch the varying textures of nature's plants, bird watch, and roam about the enchanted forest. She had a blast, and I had so much fun capturing her on camera. There's no better time than when family is in town!!
